Abstract (EN)

This study composes the variants which are related to interpersonal verbalcommunication and online learning areas. Willingness to communicate which is one ofthe variants on verbal communication area transferred to an online media, its influenceshave been argued to analyze. The main aim of the study is to search whether thecommunication attitudes of persons in face to face medias are performed in onlinee-learning medias as well and the relation between communication attitudes and successof them.In the research McCroskey and Richmond?s Willingness to Communicate Scale(WTC) which is authoritative and accredited to determine the willingness of the learnersto communicate. The frequency of the learners? interaction in online e-learning mediashas been determined through the number of sent e-mails. Subsequently as to thewillingness of the learners to communicate, interaction frequency of them in onlinemedias has been compared. As a conclusion of this research, the fact that the learnerswho have high willingness to communicate in face to face medias don?t need interactionin online medias very frequently has been observed. However, it is stated that thelearners who have low willingness to communicate have been trying to dispel thatdeficiency interacting more frequently. Moreover it has been observed that as long asthe frequency of learners? interaction increases, lesson success grades have beenincreased.In respect of the data gathered and conclusion of the study, series of suggestionshave been improved for designers and operators.
