Abstract (EN)
Expert systems are knowledge-based systems and are an application area of artificial intelligence that aims to analyze problems from a wider perspective and imitate human intelligence in solving them. Specifically, it is an interactive decision-making tool that uses experience to solve difficult problems based on expert knowledge. Although expert systems are widely used in different disciplines, their use in agriculture is limited and it is an important issue that needs to be studied. 57% of the world's dried apricot production is produced in Turkey. 85% of Turkish Apricot production is produced only in Malatya province. There is no software for collecting data on apricots, reporting and analyzing them, and calculating cost and gross profit. An expert system-based application has been made that calculates the cost and gross profit of apricot, which is the subject of this thesis. In the study, KAYBİS (Apricot Information System) software was developed using the Visual Studio 2017 software development environment. To verify the data analysis of the software in question; The data obtained through the face-to-face survey study in the Akçadağ district of Malatya province were entered into the system and it was determined that the correct results were obtained. With the developed software, variable costs and gross profit calculations used in yield cost calculations in apricot were made. With this program, agricultural enterprises will make it easy to make production planning by calculating instant cost calculations and gross profits individually. With the program developed as a result of the study, the individual instant cost structures and gross profits of the agricultural enterprises can be seen by the researchers, and it will become a basic program that can provide information about the region and region producers.
