Abstract (EN)

The danger and risks that have been encountered in this process have been changing day by day in parallel with the production action that has been made obligatory for the necessity of mankind since the existence of mankind, and the measures to be taken against the changing risks have become increasingly diverse day by day. As a result of developing industrialization and technological developments, the measures taken against the potential risks today are being examined under the heading "Occupational Health and Safety" and it is aimed to reduce job accidents and occupational diseases. The biggest role in reaching this goal belong to workers. In this study, it was tried not to examine the obligations of the employees within scope of the 6331 Occupational Health and Safety Law. At the same time, it was tried to analyze of the results with using SPSS 20. Programme for the questionnaire survey in order to question the occupational health and safety awareness, the habits of implementing the rules and the applicability in the shift work for a food firm in Adana. As a result it is has been come out that, the employees obeyed the Occupational Health and Safety rules for avoid occupational accidents and diseases, not for to be imposed penalty processes by senior management. This situation is same for different tasks and experienced employees.
