Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the basic concepts of vector metric spaces are examined and a brief history of fixed point theory from the Banach contraction principle to Ćirić's quasi-contraction mappings on metric spaces is given. The proof of the Banach fixed point theorem which was proved by Çevik and Altun (2009) on vector metric spaces fundamental knowledge on E-complete vector metric spaces Kannan, Chatterjee, Reich, Hardy-Rogers fixed point theorems and the Ćirić quasi-contraction mapping on vector metric spaces is given.
