Abstract (EN)

In this study, the relative effectiveness of the process of transforming inputs into outputs for the purpose of measuring the performance of maintenance-repair work for scope of traffic safety carried out by the Regional Directorate of Highways under the responsibility of the General Directorate of Highways was demonstrated by the data envelopment analysis method and the necessary recommendations were made for the not fully effective regional directorates to be fully effective. Four inputs and four outputs were determined to determine the performance and 2013-2017 data obtained from maintenance and repair expenditures of General Directorate of Highways were evaluated and effective regional directorates were determined. The target values of the inputs and outputs are discussed for each regional directorate in order to make ineffective regional directorates effective by reference to the effective regional directorates. Key Words: Data Envelopment Analysis, Efficiency, Maintenance, Road Safety
