IX+144Cyprus has been accepted a symbol of the sovereignty for the East Mediterranean. Forthis reason, the island has always been attacked for this aim. Cyprus has never got a chanceto administer herself. Her geographical place is very important fort this point. The island is apart of Anatolia. Moreover, Anatolia is the nearest land to Cyprus. So, Cyprus had related toAnatolia in the past.6th and 7th centuries were very important for the history of Cyprus. Because, thenthere was Byzantine?s pressure on the island. Therefore, The Cypriots have forgetten theirpersonalty and traditions. So, These people have suppossed theirselves as Greek. In addition,The Arabs attacked the island firstly time in 649. After this, The Cypriots and The Müslim-Arabs acceptted a agreement. According to the agreement, the island has been administeredby Byzantine and The Müslim-Arabs.
