Abstract (EN)

Periodic vibration analysis of viscoelastically supported orthotropic plates with bearing additianol mass is examined in the thesis. The fundemantal frequency of the plate is an important parameter for the engineering designs. So, its variation is examined according to the mass distribution area ratio (the percentage of the mass area over the plate area),force distribution area ratio, mechanical properties of the material and translational spring coefficient of supports. Effect of amount of mass, poisson ratio and E2/E1 ratio on natural ferquencies of first ten modes is researched. For different damping coefficients and mass distribution area ratios, viscoelastically supported plates is calculated numerically. In the analyze, a method based on the variotional procedure in conjunction with a finite difference method is used. Using energy based finite difference technique, the problem reduced to the solution of a system of algebric equations. One of the most important result that the effect of mass distribution area ratio is important for the dynamic properties of the system. Since , the results of the investigated systems showed that the vibration characteristics had high sensitivity to mass distribution area, the idealization process must be attentively employed
