Examination of the effect of visionary leadership on organizational agility with the structural equality model: The case of accommodation businesses

It is considered that visionary leadership, which is one of the modern leadership approaches in the tourism sector, can bring innovative solutions to the challenges faced in the sector and thus provide sustainable growth by gaining competitive advantage. In this context, the purpose of this study is to reveal to what extent employees evaluate their managers as visionary leaders and how visionary leadership affects organizational agility. In addition, it is also aimed to reveal the effect of visionary leadership on the sub-dimensions of organizational agility. In this context, this study first presents detailed literature on the concepts of visionary leadership and organizational agility, then provides information about the methodology of the research, and then presents the results obtained within the framework of the research findings. The research population consists of a total of 978 employees actively working in the "Kamelya Collection Exclusive Hotels" operating in Antalya/Side, and the sample consists of 414 employees who were reached by face-to-face survey method from this population. According to the findings of the research, it was determined that visionary leadership has a statistically significant and positive effect on organizational agility, and visionary leadership also has a statistically significant and positive effect on organizational agility sub-dimensions.
