Abstract (EN)

In this study, the finite element method is used to analyze the mechanical damages due to the fall condition of the built-in furnace by means of finite element method. Conducting drop tests on built-in furnaces provides information on whether the product is resistant to damage during and after transportation. Simulation of this test in computer environment before the drop test provides information about whether the designs of the burner and related parts are correct before they are molded. In addition, mold modifications are minimized and the amount of scrap products is reduced. In order to investigate the mechanical damages during the drop test, the complex structure of the built-in furnace was simplified and modeled and analysis studies were conducted. In this study, the finite element analysis of the VTC built-in furnace produced in the oven-furnace producing factory of the Aegean Free Zone of TEKA Group was carried out. The fall tests of the products were carried out in the R & D and Quality laboratories of the TEKA İzmir Factory and the results of the tests and analyzes supported each other. The tested product is a new product with 65cm hearth size considering both the company and the samples in the market. Since it is not desired to change the furnace aesthetics in this innovative product, no changes could be made to the furnace glass in order to solve the breakage problems in the analyzes and tests, instead the packaging designs were changed. New design packaging parts analysis and physical drop tests were performed. Analysis and test results were found to be consistent with each other.
