Özet (EN)

This thesis is a formal and harmonic analysis of three classical period(1750-1820) composers? basson concertos historically regarded as the mostimportant works in bassoon literature. In this work, the analyses are presented in order of composition: W. A.Mozart?s Bassoon Concerto KV 191 (1774), J. N. Hummel?s F BassoonConcerto W23 (1805) and C. M. Von Weber?s F Bassoon Concerto op. 75(1811).These classical works exhibit many similarities due to the presence ofclassical harmonic structure and tonal relationship in each. The firstmovements of these concertos are in ?Sonata-Allegro? form, while the secondmovements are presented in ?Lied? or song form, and their third movementsare in ?Rondo? form.Because these works have been published in many different editions, differences in measure numbers and piano accompaniments do occur. Forthis thesis, I have chosen to use the following editions: W. A. Mozart BassoonConcerto?s ?Breitkopf? edition, no. 3396 (Wiesbaden), J. N. Hummel BassoonConcerto?s ?International Music Company? edition, no. 2685 (New York) andC. M. Von Weber Bassoon Concerto?s ?Nuova Editione? Lichterfelde, (Berlin).
