Abstract (EN)
The rapid development of computing technology has led to a large increase in knowledge and data sharing. Additionally, the capacity of memory modules to hold data has increased dramatically making it more difficult to find the desired data and information. Due to the abundance of information and difficulty in locating it, the use of data mining is needed for the extraction of meaningful and purposeful information. This thesis examines a web-based survey of GSM customers utilizing data mining analysis. The purpose of the data mining analysis is to learn why GSM customers switch from one provider of services to the other. For the purpose of this study, the data mining software ?WEKA? was used to identify habits and trends amongst different customer groups. Having knowledge of this information can be of critical importance for GSM providers to retain their customers. In this thesis, the results of the analysis done by the WEKA program will be presented.
