Design and application of a web based automation system

This study aims to use fast growing internet technology for remote control, data collecting and monitoring systems. Controlling and monitoring of these systems by using Web, provides many advantages in different area. As aimed in this work, a temperature control system has been designed. Temperature data, which are obtained from the temperature sensor, are shown on a Web interface. Ambient temperature can be controlled using the temperature control components. Besides this, a step motor control unit has been added to the system. The step motor can be turned through in every direction in a specific amount of step. Live image of the environment can also be seen on the Web interface using a Webcam. Thus, remote controlling and monitoring of the equipments and systems have been achieved using the Web.Key Words: Web Based Automation, Temprature Control, Motor Control, Remote Monitoring.
