Abstract (EN)
Web Based Education (WTE), can be described as an education model whichcomputer is used as an educational and presenting tool for communicationaland research related purposes. Technology Education aims gaining of primaryabilities and knowledge of main production periods of technology in primaryschools. Technology Education is not a profession or a technical education, it isa necessary part of education. It prepares students to a higher level of educationand professional life. It helps students to recognize several technical areas andgain a general technology knowledge. Individuals having this education have theabilities of problem solving, recreation and changing the environment by usingthe energy resources in nature. Considering the educational conditions in ourcountry, there are difficulties in giving Technology Education. The advantagesof Web Based Education must be evaluated in order to overcome thesedifficulties. In this study giving Technology Education with a Web BasedEducation Model is analysed and with this purpose a web platform is developed.An example module is designed and suggestions related with general criterias ofthis issue is made.The applications that are hard to do in classroom can be made easily in anenvironment supported with computer and internet-based materials and abetter teaching environment is presented to students.
