The analysis of Willem de Kooning paintings within the relation of art with reality

The trends of art that were in progress within the 21st century provided free thought andexpression of it possible for the artist. Expressionism, Cubism and Abstract Art are ofthose trends which are examined with these characteristics.In Expressionism, the general characteristics of the society were given by the helpinghand of feeling. This led the artist to develop skills for unique creativity so that the artisthad the chance to express the common attributes of the society on his/her own words.By pulling the figure to pieces and making the place vanish, by the help of Cubism, it isachieved to correct the misinterpretation of showing three dimensional in twodimensions, a new reality is created and all that was a big step through abstraction.The idea of presenting the objective reality was collapsed within phases that AbstractArt went through. Works of art brought about by this approach were treated within theboundaries of their own reality.The artist is a typical model within the manner of relating abstract and figurative artwith each other. The events of being abstract or figurative in art take place among thesubjects of the arguments of the updated art. Thus the works of the artist have been stilpulling attention.
