Abstract (EN)
The main goal of this research is to reveal the relationship between surveyed World of Warcraft players' connection perception with their game characters and their sociological alienation levels perception. In paralel to this goal, surveyed World of Warcraft players? demographic attributes, their daily game playing hours, playing motivations, their connection perception with their game characters and their sociological alienation levels perceptions are investigated. In this research quantitative data gathering technique was used. Quantitative datas gathered by using survey analyse technique from surveyed World of Warcraft?s Turkish players.The findings show that, there is not enough relationship between surveyed World of Warcraft players? connection perception with their game characters and their sociological alienation levels perception. Besides that, results showed that surveyed World of Warcraft players' connection perception with their game characters is neither strong nor weak. At the same time, surveyed World of Warcraft players' results show that players feels sociological alienation towards to real life.
