Özet (EN)

Cuman-Kipchaks, who gave the name of Dest-i Kipchak to the north of the Black Sea and its surroundings during the heyday of their rule, It is known that they are at the beginning of the tribes that spread over the widest geography among the Turkish tribes. In fact, the fact that the Cumans-Kipchaks did not have a state allowed them to play a greater role in the states they were in contact with. In this context, it is seen that they left permanent traces in the states that ruled for a long time in different regions such as the Khwarazmian Empire the Byzantine Empire, the Delhi Turkish Sultanate, the Hungarian Kingdom, the Kingdom of Georgia, the Emirate of Derbent, the Alans, the Mamluk Sultanate and Golden Horde. This study examines the of the North Caucasus Cuman-Kipchaks, a group affiliated with the Don Cuman-Kipchaks from the end 11th century until the second half 13th century The Cuman-Kipchaks, who almost mentioned themselves in every source written in this geography, especially in the Middle Ages, in a wide geography stretching from Turkestan to Hungary, from the Irtysh to Danube, from India to the North Caucasus, unfortunately could not become a state in the historical process. In this study, important issues such as how the North Caucasian Cuman-Kipchaks came to the region, their relations with the peoples who were here before them, how these relations developed, their areas of dominance in the mentioned region, their borders and their residue in the region are explained.
