Özet (EN)

It is not possible to make an accurate assessment of the period without understanding the Turkmens who pioneered all the political, economic and cultural changes and developments of the 13th century Turkish Seljuk State. It will be encountered that the subjects, who are extremely useful for the service of the state under the control of strong and astute sultans, will become a destructive flood power in the hands of incompetent and short-sighted sultans and administrators. In the second half of the 13th century Turkmens, who quickly realized Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev's incompetence and administrative gap, never fully obeyed the Seljuk Palace after the Babai rebellion. Turkmens, who fought until the collapse of both the Seljuk State and the Ilkhanid State with the Battle of Kösedağ, initiated a new period for Anatolia, which we call the Principalities Period. Turkmens, who made a significant contribution to the Turkification of Anatolia in a cultural sense, carried their traditions from Khorasan to Anatolia. Dervishes, poets, and Sufi scholars, who were among the migrations that came with the Mongol pressure, were very influential among the Turkmens who had Heterodox beliefs by strengthening their spiritual aspects. During this period, Turkmens pioneered the establishment of two important organizations in Anatolia, the Ahi Organization and the Bacıyan-ı Rum. They made significant contributions to Anatolia's transformation and development into a Turkish homeland despite the Mongol oppression.
