Abdî Efendi from 19th century personalities and his work titled Münâzara-i Nutk-i Bî-pervâ ile Akl-i dânâ (examination-critical text-index-dictionary-facsimile)

ABSTRACT Thesis consists of introduction and four chapters. In this these, the work Münâzara-i Nutk-ı Bî-pervâ ile Akl-ı Dânâ (Nev-peydâ) written by Abdî Efendi from XIXth century and Şebinkarahisâr as a prose has been criticized and investigated. In order to introduce an author and the works of his/her it is necessary to be aware of the political and literary status of the age. Therefore the first chapter is devoted to the political and literary status of the age. In chapter two, the definition of a debate, its origin and classification have been briefly explained. Then the debates in Turkish literature have been given, namely. In chapter three, the work has been introduced in general terms. In chapter four, by mentioning the methods while setting the criticited text; transcribed text has been given. In evaluation and conclusion, the importance of work; the fundings and the corollaries which can be obtained have been mentioned. Dictionary, index and appendix have been presented to understand the mentioned foil clearly. In the final chapter, the copy of the manuscript with the archive no:06 Mil Yz A 8971 in Ankara Millî Kütüphâne Yazmalar Koleksiyonu (The Collection of Manuscript of Ankara Millî Kütüphâne) and the printed copy with the archive no: OE_Yz_1287 /759 in İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi Atatürk Kitaplığı Osman Ergin Yazmaları Koleksiyonu (The Collection of Osman Ergin Manuscript of İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality Atatürk Library) have been added.
