Administrative structure in the Menteşe Sanjak in the 19 st centruy

XIX. ın our study as titled "Administrative Structure in the Menteşe Sanjak in the 19 st Centruy", the effect of the changes in the administrative structure in the Ottaman Empire with the Tanzimat period in the provinces was examined in the example of the Menteşe Sanjak, In previos studies on the Menteşe Banner, the deficiency of the administrative section was determined and the gap in this area was tried to be filled. Our study consist of three perts exceept the introduction, In the introduction part, the administrative structure of the country up to the Menteşe Sanjak in the entrance section the XIX. The part up to the centry has been discusssed, XIX. 1in the firstchapter. Theinnovations brrought by the Tanzimat Edict in the 19. St centruy, the 1864 and 1871 regulations, and finally the administraative status of the Menteşe Sanjak are discussed. In the second part, the changes in the administrative structure of the Menteşe Starboard are examined and the starboard, country and subdistrict administrative councils aree included, ın the third chapter, the city stucture of the Menteşe Sanjak includes the establishment and opertion of the municipality and mukhtar organization.
