Poets of Diyarbakir in XVI. century

XVI. th Century is the most developed era for Turkish literature. Along with manyfamous and men of letters educated at this century, it is possible to see the same kind ofdevelopment in Diyarbakır as well. In this century, the poets who are even able to competewith those of ?stanbul have been educated in Diyarbakır.Diyarbakır which had been capital city of many civilizations in history has gone on asa cultural centre during the Ottomans rule as well. Natural results of this situation, manyscientists, poets and artists have been educated in Diyarbakır.
