Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine the lecturers' perception, who teach Turkish as a foreign language, of activities and the status of development/application of these activities. The population of the study consists of all the lecturers who work in Turkish Language Centers, and the sample is 164 lecturers. In this research, the content analysis from qualitative research methods was used. 149 of the instructors answered the semi-structured interview form and 15 of them participated in the focus group discussion. The data were transferred to the computer and encoded using the MAXQDA 2018 program. Huberman's formula was used to ensure reliability in the study. Accordingly, the reliability percentage were 88%, 92% for the interviews and the focus group discussion, respectively. As a result of the analysis and the codes obtained, it was determined that the perception of the lecturers towards the activities was high. In addition, it was determined that the lecturers developed activities by considering various elements and applying them. At the end of the research, various suggestions were made.
