Abstract (EN)

This study has been carried out in order to evaluate Turkish textbooks for foreigners in terms of teaching adverbs, to deternine how adverbs are taught in Turkish course books for foreigners, which types of adverbs are taught according to levels, and whether the book sets considered as a sample have paralells in teaching adverbs. İn this study, which is based on basic qualitative research, which is one of the qualitative research designs, document analysis was used as a date collection method. Content analysis was used in the analysis of the obtained data. The content of this study consists of Yedi İklim Turkısh Textbooks for Foreigners, Yeni Hitit Turkısh Textbooks for Foreigners and Gazi University Turkish Grammar Books for Foreigners at A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 levels, which are prepared to teach Turkish to foreigners. These sources were obtained from TÖMER institutions of the relevant universities during the data collection and examined in terms of teaching envelopes. As a result of study, it has been seen that the activities that directly deal with adverbs in Yedi İklim and Yeni Hitit textbooks are limited. Adverbs have been mostly formed or inclued while teaching other grammar subjects. From the point of view of adverbs of place-direction, expressions indicating place-direction are included in the spiral of subjects such as equality suffixes. İn Gazi University Turkish grammar textbooks for foreigners, adverbs are included in detail, but adverbs are handled in the contex of the subject with a traditional approach. In all the sets analyzed, the most time envelopes have been included. Key Words: The Teaching Turkısh as Foreign Language, coursebooks, adverbs, types of adverbs.
