Abstract (EN)

The aim of this thesis is to compare the teaching programs and textbooks of foreign students attending Turkish and Russian language courses within the framework of comparing Turkish and Russian teaching as a foreign language and length of teaching Turkish / Russian, and evaluating teaching courses, and making suggestions to contribute to Turkish teaching as a foreign language under light of the data obtained. There are different problems in foreign language teaching in Turkey. These problems are encountered both in designing programs and in writing textbooks. In this study, in order to teach the language of the target country in Russia and Turkey, the programs of both countries, and textbooks have been compared and some deficiencies have been put forward. TÖMER Turkish courses in Ankara University and Gazi University, the duration of teaching Turkish, and the Turkish teaching textbooks (Gazi Turkish for Foreigners 1, 2, 3, 4, 5; New Hitit Turkish for Foreigners 1, 2, 3 Russian courses in preparatory faculties of Russia / Nijniy Novgorod Labochevskiy State University, Minin State Pedagogy University, Dobrolyubov State Linguistic University; Doroga v Rossiyu 1, 2, 3; Okna v Rossiyu 1, 2; Poehali 1, 2,1, 2.2), the course and auxiliary textbooks and sources (collected data, sorted) in teaching Turkish and Russian to foreigners were analyzed through a deep analysis. In this study, Russia is preferred because the researcher has experience in teaching Turkish to foreigners in this country. The researcher has taught Turkish to Russians for many years and has also attended English courses that were taught to Russians. As a result, both Russian and Turkish are used to teach as a foreign language, and both state-specific methods and theories have been observed in textbooks. Language teaching programs and textbooks in Turkey and Russia have observed deficiencies and suggestions that have been made for better language teaching.
