In the process of Turkey's international expansion, teaching Turkish to foreigners in the frame of "Adult Students Project" has developed recently and become a project not only for Turks and relative communities but also for world nations. Teaching Turkish as a foreign language does not only refer to teaching the language but rather to the expansion of Turkish culture and its values system. In this context, it is deemed necessary to conduct studies on what methods to follow in teaching Turkish as a second language and how to better the success of the process which form grounds for development and increase of these. Three main levels of proficiency, namely A (basic), B (middle) and C (upper), have been determined in the teaching of Turkish as a foreign language, as classified in the Common European Framework of Reference. Various materials related to teaching Turkish as a foreign language based on the qualifications of these levels are available in the literature. Examples of these materials are textbooks, workbooks, Z books and other technological materials.
