Abstract (EN)
Man has been preoccupied with the end of time since the dawn of history. Many various heavenly and earthly answers have been proposed. Many people have been deeply absorbed in thought with the apocalypse, in terms of events, figures, narrations, and both sacred and diligent texts. Religious interpretations have attempted to predict what would happen based on revelations and creativity. The Jews, like other nations, believed in the events of the End of Times and warned about them. Commentators on Jewish religious scriptures have attempted to present apocalyptic events and what they have sanctified. Few of them have been accessible because of the gap between what they wrote and what we now know due to our turning away from the Hebrew language and culture as Muslim and Arab peoples. In this thesis, which consists of an introduction, three main parts, and a conclusion, the researcher attempts to paint a picture of the Jewish narrative of not only the apocalyptic events but also of one of the most significant figures associated with the End of Times, namely "Messiah son of Juseph", who plays an essential part in the events. The researcher will attempt to develop and present this character's structure in the thesis before connecting it to the events of the End of Times. The researcher explores the existence of saviors in various civilizations and explains the idea of the Messiah in the first section. He then provides evidence of the Messiah's existence in the Revealed religions. The researcher explored the personality, the primary objective of the study, in the second section, he discussed how the Messiah was announced, how he appears, where he arouses how it relates to Jewish religious symbols, the way it's connected to spiritual life and religion in Jewish prayers and rituals like the obstetric tree of life. The researcher attempts to investigate the Jewish story, how they portrayed this character, and how they believe in it. In the third section, he correlates the Messiah with the events of the end times in terms of the individuals and events that develop from his emergence. The researcher looks for something novel that was not previously written about at the time of this research, especially in light of his knowledge of Hebrew sources, in the hope of adding this new research to the Islamic library in comparative studies.
