Abstract (EN)
This study consists of Elijah, one of the most important prophets in the holy scripture and how it is dealt with in the Jewish and Islamic literature. This study consists of three chapters. In the first chapter or in the introduction, we presented the subject, the literary survey, the significance, the method and the sources of the thesis. In the second chapter, we presented the name of Elijah, his stemma, his appearance and his historical term. In this chapter we also talked about the relation Elijah and Moses, Elijah and Khidr, Ba'l and the miracles of Elijah. In the third chapter we presented the name of Elijah, his stemma, his appearance and relation of Elijah-Muhammad according to the Islamic sources. As a result of this chapter, we concluded that the miracles dealt with Jesus and Moses are referenced to Elijah. Furthermore, comparisons were made to clarify whether Elijah is identical to Elisha and Khidr.
