Özet (EN)

Religion is one of the most important factors that shape human life. People who are devoted to religion live their lives according to the information in the holy books. The holy book of Judaism consists of the ancient Testament / Tanakh and Talmud. As a society with monotheistic belief, Jews have lived in peace and tranquility in the lands dominated by Islam for centuries. With the opportunities given to the Jews, they acted in all kinds of fields as individuals of Islamic states. Karaism, defined as the Jewish religious movement, IX. It is a scriptural and messianic sect that crystallized in Iran, Iraq, Damascus, and parts of Palestine in the second half of the 19th century. When Jewish history was researched, the translation of the influence of Islamic thought into Jewish theology was accompanied by the emergence of the Karaite movement. Therefore, when dealing with medieval Jewish religious thought and theology, it should be taken into account that Karaism, in particular, fulfilled a task of preparing the environment. The Karaites continued to exist in medieval and modern times, with the numerical strength and intellectual challenge they represented in medieval Judaism, particularly in their "Golden Ages" (X and XI centuries). Because of the long-standing vitality of the Karaite movement with its spiritual essence and as an alternative voice within pre-modern Judaism, it is seen as an integral stream of Judaism, or alternatively, as a manifestation of the multifaceted nature of Jewish culture and identity. Yefet ben Eli, the most prolific and influential interpreter of the Tanakh in the Karâîte tradition, was probably the earliest Jew to comment on the entire Hebrew-Arabic Tanakh. His writings have been cited by both Karâîtes and Rabbinics from his time to the early modern period.
