Abstract (EN)
In this study; the commentary of Fethu'l-mu'nim sharhu Sahîh-i Muslim, written by Musa Şahin Lâşin (d. 2009), an academic hadith scholar, on Sahih-i Muslim, which was classified by Muslim b. Hajjâc (d. 261/875), one of the important figures of hadith history, was examined with document review and descriptive analysis methods. In addition, the study includes a comparison of eight commentaries of Sahih-i Muslim written in Arabic and one commentary of Sahih-i Muslim written in Turkish in the last century in terms of form, content and method. In the first part of the thesis consisting of three parts, Musa Şahin's life is outlined and information is given about his works. The second part covers the form and content analysis of Fethu'l-mu'nim sharhu Sahîh-i Muslim. This part is examined under three headings in line with the original systematics that highlights Sahin's commentary. For Musa Lâşin has commented on Sahih-i Muslim very systematically under three main headings. First, he has interpreted the hadiths in a holistic manner under the heading "el-ma'na'l-âm" in a way that will give a general perspective on the subject under consideration. In the second heading, "el-mebâhisü'l-arabiyye", he has explained the linguistic elements in the hadiths in terms of Sarf, Nahiv and Rhetoric. In the third section, "Fiqh al-hadith", he has addressed the theological, jurisprudential, ethical and socio-cultural principles and principles that the hadiths contain. While the author shows the basic structure of the subject in the general overview section with this systematic, he has revealed the linguistic basis of this structure in the Arabic sections and the belief, worship, transactions, ethical, social and cultural elements in the fiqh al-hadith section. It can be said that the work, which is distinguished from other Sahih-i Muslim commentaries with its original commentary method and "general view" section on hadiths, was established in this systematic manner due to the fact that its author was an educator. It can also be thought that this modern systematic commentary method can lead to a conceptualization that can be expressed with the concept of "Usul-u Şerhi'l-Hadith". In the third part of the study, the contents of eight commentaries written in Arabic and one written in Turkish in the last century are briefly introduced and these works are compared with each other from different perspectives, revealing the similarities and original aspects between them. These nine commentaries written in recent times are compared with each other in terms of their commentaries on the Introduction of Sahih-i Muslim, providing information on rijal and chain of narrators, the functionality of cerh-ta'dil, their content, their systematic interpretation, their use of the books and chapters of Sahih, their language and style, whether they touch on current issues, and their use of sources.
