Abstract (EN)

In occupational health and safety studies based on the proactive approach, it is extremely important to identify and rank the existing hazards and the risks arising from these hazards in the workplace. In addition, risk assessment studies carried out in order to decide on the necessary preventive measures are extremely important in terms of protecting employees, which is the main purpose of occupational health and safety, ensuring production safety and ensuring operational safety. Fires, which pose a risk for workplaces, are among the disasters that can cause both material and moral damages. Firefighting is vital as fires can spread rapidly and have serious consequences if not handled properly. Therefore, the production of fire equipment is extremely important. In this study, the dangers and risks arising from the machines which used in a workplace producing fire equipment and working environment conditions were determined. It was analyzed using the Fine-Kinney risk analysis method, one of the risk analysis methods. Risk analiz yöntemlerinden Fine-Kinney risk analiz yöntemi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. In the resulting risk analysis study, 8 "Untolerable Risks", 18 "Massive Risks", 24 "Significant Risks", 13 "Possible Risks", 2 "Insignificant Risk" total of 65 risks were identified. Corrective and preventive actions have been determined to eliminate or minimize the identified risks.
