Key Words: Building importance factor, Earthquake area, Soil class, Artificial neural nets, Static project, Approximate rough construction costToday, the most significance subject to take care in construction market is initially to secure the human life and besides, to obtain maximum efficiency with minimum cost. Therefore, to provide this, for which purpose it will be used and the site condition should be determined. In this study, two identical projects that are septuple and fifteen-storey are examined. The projects are designed according to four different earthquake zone (grade 1,2,3,4), four different soil class, (Z1, Z2 ,Z3 ,Z4 ) and four different building importance factor (1; 1,2; 1,4 ve 1,5) whose static and ferroconcrete analysis were done via IDESTATIC 6.2007 software. The aquired formwork, following the analysis, the reinforcement and quantities values programmed with artificial neural nets, approximate rough construction cost is estimated.
