Performance comparison of the computer softwares used in the planning of construction projects on the basis of a project

This study aims to compare the activities belonging to a sample construction project and compare the datas of relations between activities, with the available project planning software MP [MS Project ]& MP [Primavera Project Planner], by using the parameters; early finish, late finish, critical path duration, activities on the critical path .On this purpose, the activities of a sample hospital project have been used and the priority relationship between activities have been identified. At later stages, these datas have been input to both softwares and outputs have been calculated. The selected comparison parameters have been taken as a result of software output and compared. As a result; on the basis of a project, the selected comparison parameters have given the same results on both software.Key Words : Project, project management, project planner, network analysis, CPM, PERT, MS-project, primavera
