The Effects of Constructivist Learning Approach on Science Education and According toConstructivit Intelligence Secondary School Students? Perceptions of ScienceKadriye ERF DANABSTRACTIn this study, effects of "Constructivist Learning Model" on secondary school students in accordancewith their attitudes are analysed.The sample of research is consisted of Şehit Şenol Uçtu Primary School's ; 24 students of 6th grade,53 students of 7th grade, 34 students of 8th grade and Yavuz Selim Primary School's 24 students of 6thgrade, 19 students of 7th grade in Köprübaşı in Manisa. Totally 154 students are consisted in researchprocess.Before the practise; to all the groups a "test of readiness" and "Science Attitude Questionnaire" areapplied.While doing this study as an application unit in 6th grade classes "Voyage to Living Thing's InnerStructure", in 7th grade classes "Voyage to Matter's Inner Structure" and "If the Pressure Did Not Exist", in8th grade classes "Change And Energy in Matters" units are used.Throughout the application proses; units are explained to all the control groups according to traditionalmethot and to experiment groups according to constructivist methot.After the practice to all the classes two tests are applied. One of them is a last test about the unit wichis applied. The other one is "Science Attitude Qestionnaire " in order to see the changes in Scienceattitudes.The results of the tests are evaluated in Microsoft SPSS 10.00 programme. As statistics technique forindependent groups; t-test and ANCOVA are used.As a result we have observed thatConstructivist Learning Approach has positive effect on studebts'succes according to traditional method and their attitudes and perceptions of Science.
