Semi-presidental government system and practicality of this system in Turkey

In this study, parliamentary and presidential government systems have been studied generally with the practices seen in different countries and semi- presidential government system and the practicality of this system in Turkey have been analyzed. This study consist of three parts.In the first part, the emergence of parliamentary government system, its structure, advantages, disadvantages, the definitions of presidential government system, the positive and negative sides of presidential government system, the countries which are governed with presidential government system, disscussions about presidential government system in Turkey have been analyzed; in the second part, the definiton of semi-presidential government system, the prominent features of semi-presidential government system is practiced, discussions about semi- presidential government system in Turkey have been included.In the last part, the practicality of semi-presidential government system in Turkey has been analyzed.
