Abstract (EN)

Serious and severe health problems as a result of pollution at home, at work and at industrial environments, caused increasing of studies on gas sensor technologies all over the world. Except from health problems, area of usage of sensors at different sectors such as medicine, food and agri-culture has increased based on technological improvements. It is known that sensors generate sensible point of current at automation studies.Especially, automation studies for green house activities at food sector are increased and getting more important every year.Sensors, considered to be used at green house activities, are semiconducting oxide materials. For these sensors application, synthesizing of nano-micro sized powder or films and transformation to sensors sensible to humidity, temperature and gases are closely related with mechanical and electrical properties of sensible layers which changes according to conditions of environment. Sol-gel method for fabrication of compounds of gas sensor has advantages such as producing semiconducting oxide films or powder with excellent homogeneity and including additives with high purity.Under the scope of this study; aim is to promote production, calibration and usage of MgCr2O4-TiO2 based humidity sensors produced with sol-gel method at green house automation processes in Turkiye.
