Özet (EN)

The concept of creative achievement can be defined as the sum of the creative products an individual has produced throughout his/her life. The aim of the study was to introduce the creative thinking scale to the Turkish literature. The aim of the study was to adapt the "Creative Achievement" scale, originally named "Creative Achievement Questionnaire" and developed by Carson, Peterson and Higgins (2005), to Turkish culture. The descriptive method within the quantitative research approach was used in the study. The research was conducted with 557 science high school students studying in Sakarya province. The data collection process was carried out by following the scale adaptation stages. In the translation of the scale, assistance was received from two linguists with advanced language skills in both Turkish and English. The original and translated versions of the scale were sent to two field expert and their opinions were received for the items as "appropriate", "needs to be revised", "not appropriate" and correction suggestions. The data were entered into the SPSS program and analyses were conducted. As a result of the analyses, it was determined that language equivalence and content validity were provided. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) was performed to determine the structural validity and it was determined that it had a three-factor structure as in the original scale. The participants in the lower and upper segments were significantly separated from each other with the scale. In this sense, it can be stated that it is a reliable scale. The internal consistency coefficient was calculated as.57. Some suggestions were made to re-examine the internal consistency of the measurement tool by applying the creative success scale to larger sample groups and to examine the relationship between the creative success levels of specially talented individuals and variables such as creativity, motivation, success and attitude.
