Abstract (EN)
This research was done on 41 subjects consisted of 6th year students atMehmet Çelik Primary School in Bolu, Yeniçağa. The group in which creativeinformation technologies activities were used, was called experimental group and thegroup in which information technologies activities were used, was called controlgroup.Before education, both control and experimental group were appliedAchievement Test and Torrance Test of Creative Thinking Figural Form A. Also, aproject assignment related to the subject was given. The same procedure wasrepeated after education. The results of the tests were analyzed with ANOVA,ANCOVA, and tests.According to ANCOVA results, pre-test values of the students from differentinstruction systems compared to the corrected post-test values and creative thinkingaverage values showed a significant difference in favor of education in whichcreative course activities were used [ F(1-57)= 29.503, p<.05 ].In research, two-factored ANNOVA was used for complex measurements forthe research question about whether the learners? cognitive achievement scores,related to learning environment, change or not, according to groups. According to thefindings, cognitive achievement scores showed a significant difference in favor ofexperimental group [F(1,39)=. 321.890; p<.05]. It is found out that subjects in theCreative Computer Activities atmosphere showed a significant difference on thesuccess of project development to subjects in Computer Activities environment[F(1,39)=9.448; p<.05]. This difference is favor the group in which creative computeractivities were studied.Keywords: creativity, creative thinking, creative activities in an IT course, projectdevelopment
