Abstract (EN)
The primary aim of this study is to examine the relationship between tourist typologies, the intention to participate in creative tourism activities, and destination preference within the scope of creative tourism. The research population consists of future potential tourists residing in Ankara. A convenience sampling method was employed for survey participants. In the data analysis process, frequency analysis, normality tests, factor analysis, correlation tests, and cross-tabulations were utilized. Based on the test results, the study's central question was addressed, revealing a positive relationship between the intention to participate in creative tourism activities and destination preference within the scope of creative tourism. This research holds significance as it provides a comprehensive, detailed, and theoretical contribution to literature by examining the relationship between tourist typologies, participation intention in creative tourism activities, and destination preference. Furthermore, it offers valuable insights for tourism providers, stakeholders, public and private enterprises regarding potential strategies to enhance tourism development.
