Abstract (EN)
Dramatic writing education is carried out in any workshops that act in the form of mentor system even at the academic level. To ensure that the education reaches the international assessment-evaluation standards, many sustainable, planned, explainable methods and strategies must be adopted during performance of the dramatic writing courses given at the academic level. The aim of this research is to examine the effects of any alternative thinking and problem-solving techniques based on the creativity theories on overcoming any difficulties encountered by the students in the playwriting education. Among the creative thinking techniques, SCAMPER and Six Thinking Hats are suggested as the problem-solving methods and writing strategies during the playwriting process. The research was carried out with 11 students, who study in grades 2 and 3 of the branch of dramatic writing and dramaturgy in the Performing Arts Department of a State University. Out of 11 volunteer participants, 7 of them completed both modules and constituted the study group of the research. AB experimental pattern, one of the single-subject patterns, was used in the research. The Dramatic Play Text Sufficiency Scale-DPTSS-, which was developed within the framework of the research, was used as a data collection tool. In the data analysis, the graphical analysis method was used by entering the data with the SPSS 26.0 statistical package program. When the data is evaluated, descriptive statistical methods (number, mean, standard deviation) were used. This research shows that the creativity development techniques help the students, who receive the dramatic writing education to overcome the difficulties encountered by them in the playwriting process, that, in the creative writing education, the application of the creative thinking techniques raises an awareness on the thinking process and increases productivity, and that the alternative learning approaches and educational strategies can be introduced in dramatic writing education by using the tools of the different disciplines.
