Yârsanîs: Their origin, beliefs and similarities with other sects

In this study, the Yâresanî belief of Western Iran origin and the basic elements it contains were examined in detail and tried to be revealed. In this context, the ground on which Yâresanîsm was nourished and the similar sects were revealed in proportion to the sources reached. In addition, it has been observed that due to internal and external factors, it has been acted within the framework of the principle of confidentiality. For this reason, despite the studies, it has been concluded that there are some missing and unanswered aspects. As can be understood from the name of our thesis titled "Yâresanîs: Their Origin, Beliefs and Similarities with Other Sects", the focus will primarily be on issues such as the identity of the Yâresanîs, the geography in which they emerged and the period in which they lived. In addition, the question of whether this sect is exactly the same as other sects with which it is similar or whether there are points of difference has been tried to be answered by the comparative method. As a result of all these, an attempt was made to create a resource on Yâresanism as a belief system. In our study, the belief elements of Yârsanîs were determined and Yârsanî fiqh was presented in a general framework. In this way, the idea of god and divine personalities, which are effective in the formation and maintenance of this religion, are presented systematically. Finally, the current situation, the latest studies and the limitations and recommendations experienced throughout the study are given.
