A review on the "Yarim Ay" Magazine

"Yarım Ay Mecmuası" is a publication that commenced during the Atatürk era, with its first issue released on February 14, 1935, and a total of 187 issues published. The owner of "Yarım Ay Magazine" is Vecdi Eren. The publication covers the periods of both Atatürk and İsmet İnönü. The contributors and text types within the magazine are diverse. Particularly, upon examining the text types, it becomes possible to obtain information about the social, political, and societal events of the era. This study focuses on analyzing issues 1-187 of "Yarım Ay Mecmuası" and categorizing the texts within the magazine in two waySayfa: based on genre and chronology.
