Abstract (EN)

In this study, Tokat Yağıbasan ( Çukur) Madrasah, which is one of the important structures of our cultural heritage, has been examined by using scaled real earthquake acceleration records. The most distinctive features of working on this structure is the fact that it is encountered a few examples of it in Anatolia and its middle dome is half-built. In the study, the structure has been modeled by using finite element method according to two different scenarios. In the first scenario, it was modeled as half-domed as in the original, and in the second scenario it was modeled as full-domed, and the results of the analysis were compared. Material specification obtained from similar studies in traditional masonry structures in literature was used for material specification. Local ground conditions were taken into consideration for dynamic analysis, and structural behavior under earthquake impact was examined and evaluated, and structural performance was presented in terms of static and dynamic effects. As a result of the analyzes, it was observed that the regions where stress concentration occured for hoth structures were similar, but the values changed.
