Living Gulat Shia sects and their basic beliefs

After Hz. Muhammad, the common name of the communities who believe that Ali is as the caliph "irrevocable verdict and determination", the leader imam will be from the descendants of his descendants until the Day of Judgment and who claim that these imams are innocent is called Shiism. There are also extreme ideas on the basis of Islam, which were influenced by some other religions and formed by the divisions within the Shiite sect. These are called ''gulat, galiiyya" or "extreme Shia Sects". In our thesis, we tried to determin the basic beliefs to these Gulat-ı Shia groups who have survived to the present day. Our thesis the study consists of the introduction and three parts. In the first chapter we examined the common concepts of the gulat sects living in Shia today. In the second part, , we gave information about the meaning of the concept of gulat and firak, ricâl and the concept of gulat in history books. In the last chapter, we gave information about the historical processes and beliefs of the gulat sects living in Shia on the basis of Imamiyya as Nusayris and Babism-Bahâîsm, the basis of Ismailite, Druze and Qarmatism. As a result, we reached the conclusion that gulat sects have common beliefs as they emerged and developed with the influence of culture, civilization, religion and sociological elements in the conquered geography and fed from the same source.
