This study aims to develop software that will be able to perform blade designsdepending on the desired conditions for horizontal axis wind turbines. To servethis purpose, theoretical approaches pertaining to aerodynamics of horizontalaxis wind turbines and blade design in terms of blade element momentumtheory were examined systematically. As a result, software called a wingsimulator based Microsoft Visual C#. NET 2.0 was developed for the horizontalaxis wind turbines. The software was designed in a manner that will enable togive out required measurements (blade chord measurements, estimated power,blade angle) for the time design when the user inputs local features and bladelength. The program is at a level that will give some insight for those willing toperform blade design horizontal axis wind turbines according to the wind dataof an area.
