The analysis of the family characteristics reflecting on the paintings of the first, the second and the third grade students attending at the regional dormitory primary schools

In this study focusing on the family charateristics reflecting on the paintings of students whose ages change between seven and nine and who attend at the Regional Dormitory Primary Schools; the knowledge of how the students reflect their emotions of being away from their families on the paintings and the knowledge of how they reflect the lack of emotional satisfaction on their paintings have been reached by doing their visual reading. In this context, the indications in the paintings of the students are accepted as the reflection of their inner world. As we know, the unifying item in a family is mother and father. This shows that the child needs parents love a lot of during the first years of his/her life. That is why, ?the family concept? has been the main item in this study investigating the paintings of the students.The subjects of this study consist of the first, the second and the third grade students attending at the Regional Dormitory Primary School in Diyarbakir province. These students are between seven and nine years old. The subjects in the study are composed of Kocaalan Regional Dormitory Primary School in Dicle, Cinar Regional Dormitory Primary School in Cinar, Cumhuriyet Regional Dormitory Primary School in Hani, Ayse Toprak Regional Dormitory Primary School in Lice and Vali Nafiz Kayali Regional Dormitory Primary School in centre of Diyarbakir and this are totally five schools and fifty five students in Diyarbakir. In this study, it has been determined that the students mentioned here have a great longing for and need for their parents and they reflected these emotions by 89 percent in different ways by using different kinds of indications. The family charateristics was reflected as the father, mother and children?s being together happily and as the father, mother and children who are not away from each other physically.
