The attitudes of regional (boarding) schools students and parents towards physical education lessons and out of class activities (Hakkari city sample)

The analyze of the data is made with package statistical programme with percentage, frequency, average and standart deviation methods. The reasonsof the parents for choosing Regional Boarding Schools are ; inadequate education, low income, and the number of children . With the increase in the level of education and quality among the parents and the students diversity atrracts attention in attitudes towards physical education lesson and out of class activities.The students said in the future they would give permission to their children for paticipating in the activities without making gender discrimination .Another diversity in opinion between students and parents is the school team and out of class activities will effect students success in negative direciton.Major part of the parents think that out of class activities will effect success negatively. Parents and students think that School Management and teachers direct out of class activities more effectivley but students and parents attention. is ignored Parents and students found the facility and equipment that are used for out of class acitivities inadequate. The parents and students that participated in the survey stated that the class hour of physical education must be two hours in a week.The students and parents answers were close in this context.
