Adminisrtation problems at boarding schools and an application

The aim of this research is to examine the problems faced by administrators of boarding schools during school management. In this research, the relationship between the school administrators and their inferiors/superiors, the problems they faced with, the schools? opportunities and demographic information of the administrators all around Turkey are analyzed. In this research a descriptive study is done and scanning model is used. The data is gained from administrators by questionnaire method after a literature review is done related to the topic. Total field under survey is boarding schools in Turkey and the illustrations of survey consist of boarding schools chosen from different regions of Turkey. The questionnaires are conducted to 85 of 539 boarding schools in Turkey. The questionnaires are just for the administrators. The data of the research is gained by literature review and questionnaire method. The analysis is realized with frequency tables, determinative statistics and correlation factors by using SPSS program. According to the results of analysis; it is determined that the administrators at boarding schools aren?t qualified about management, the boarding schools don?t face a problem about teacher employment, physical opportunities of the schools are not satisfactory, the supervision of the ministry at boarding schools is satisfactory, the administrators have difficulty in forming staff, conducting the stability and using their authority and they face with interferences, there occurs a problem resulted from incapability and insufficiency of the staff during distribution of the duties in schools and this situation causes some problems while forming organizational structure, equalization of reward and punishment system at motivation issue again causes some problems and there is a communication problem about providing the coordination. The most important problem faced by administrators of boarding schools is being lack of scientific information about management. Additionally it is found out that the number of in-service educational activities about management given to administrators by Ministry of National Education must be increased.
