Dr. Yasemin ERSOYKasım- 2006This research was made among the students of Refik Arslan Öztürk Fen HighSchool and Ertuğrul Gazi High School which are within the boundary lines ofprovince Bilecik. The purpose of this research was to evaluate the status and theknowledge of the boarding -and non-boarding student about nutritions. 78 girls and182 boys, at total 260 student were elected by chance. 182 of this student are livingin hostels and 78 of them are living with their families. 80.8 % of the high-schoolstudents are eating three times a day, 9.2 % two time sor less and 10 % are eatingfour time sor more in a day. The proportion of the boarding student, who are eatingthree times a day is 86.6 % ; of the non-boarding students iti is only 66.7 %. Themost leaving out meal is breakfast, the reason therefore is `don?t have appetite? or`don?t have enough time?. It was seen that boarding student have more knowledgeabout nutrition than non-boaeding student.Key words: Nutrition. Adolescent. Adolescent for Nutrition.
