Analysis of the narrations concerning the teaching of prayer to children between the ages of seven and ten in terms of distortion and values education

Childhood is a critical period in which the foundations of individuals' spiritual and moral development are laid. Religious education given during this period plays an important role in shaping the individual's future beliefs and behaviors. Prayer education and its requirements for children are the cornerstone of this education. Regarding prayer education and training in children, Hz. There are narrations transmitted from the Prophet (pbuh) and his companions. Especially the concept of beating in these narrations has been the subject of debate in the past and today. The difference of opinions is due to Hz. In the narrations transmitted from the Prophet (pbuh), the concept mentioned in the hadith text was considered as tattoo in our Turkish language only after the Prophet. This is due to the fact that the Prophet's (pbuh) own practice was different. This study consists of an introduction, two main chapters and a conclusion, and includes the narrations related to prayer education and teaching in children, Hz. Their belonging to the Prophet (pbuh) has been analyzed and criticized in terms of text and documents. However, the verb of beating mentioned in the narrations is Hz. It was examined as a whole, taking into account other hadiths of the Prophet (pbuh) regarding education. The narration in question is Hz. It was evaluated whether it was in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet and the Islamic education method.
