Erzincan between 1942-1951 in the light of the New Erzincan newspaper

By researching the first and only local newspaper published in Erzincan between 1942 and 1951, the goal of this study is to shed light on the city's recent history. In this regard, the newspaper's economic, social, and political facets were taken into consideration as we looked at the events in Erzincan between 1942 and 1951. The geographical makeup of Erzincan and its political history up to the republican period are briefly discussed in the study's introduction. Additionally, information about the press and the Yeni Erzincan newspaper was provided, as well as an explanation of the earthquake of 1939. The first section of the essay discusses recent events in the economic and social spheres in the context of newspaper reports. The news in the political sectors is covered in the second section, while the news in the fields of education, health, and sports is covered in the third section. Based on the evidence at hand, an assessment was formed in the conclusion section. Conclusions were reached regarding the investments made and sought in Erzincan, the issues that could not be rectified at this time, and the developments and changes in the province following the DP's seizure of power.
