Abstract (EN)
In this study, new two 4-Benzyl/phenyl-2-[(1-methyl-1-H-indole-2-yl)carbonyl]hydrazine carbothioamide, two 4-Benzyl/phenyl-3-[(1-methyl-1-H-indole-2-yl)-1H-1,2,4-triazole-5(4H)-thion and sixteen 2-[4-Benzyl/phenyl-5-(substituted-benzylthio)-4H-1,2,4-triazole-3-yl]-1-methyl-1H-indole derivatives were synthesized. The chemical structures of the compounds synthesized have been confirmed by IR, HRMS, 1H-NMR spectral data and elemental analysis. The chemical structures and physical properties of the compounds were given in Table 2.The antimicrobial activities of 4-Benzyl/phenyl-3-[(1-methyl-1-H-indole-2-yl)-1H-1,2,4-triazole-5(4H)-thion and 2-[4-Benzyl/phenyl-5-(substituted-benzylthio)-4H-1,2,4-triazole-3-yl]-1-methyl-1H-indole derivatives have been investigated.Antimicrobial activity of synthesized compounds were tested using Microbroth dilution method. According to the results, compounds have not shown activity compared with Gentamicin and Fluconazole. Among the compounds synthesized, Compound 15 has slightly shown antimicrobial activity against all test microorganisms.
